The view of beauty in the surrounding world is the power that moves human spirit towards all its creative expressions. Perceive beauty is the purpose of all human desires. Initially we perceive beauty through senses, while,in the end, we arrive to the concept of abstract beauty. In reality, however, the view of ideal beauty is present from the beginning, since it is innate in humans, while its awakening takes place in successive stages: from the experience of perceiving beauty through art, we move towards the perception of beauty in nature, in bodies, in souls, and from there we pass to the perception of beauty in institutions, sciences, philosophy; until we, finally, arrive to the perception of the very essense of beauty. Through Diotima the prophet , in “Symposium”, Plato tells us that from physical beauty we can move to the spiritual, then to the beauty of the institutions, laws and sciences 210-11, for, finally, to arrive to the essential, intact and ever-purer beauty 211 e. According to Plato, behind every work we consider beautiful, stands the archetype of beauty. The work itself is nothing but the guide that brings us back into the Form of beauty. Our soul, knowing this ideal beauty once, forgot it when it came to the world.
